Welcome to the Honey Story of
Linden honey from White Carpathians
Another wonderful honey

Our Story

In the heart of the spa town of Luhačovice, at the foot of the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area and surrounded by unspoilt nature, a special honey is born. Bees in my region gather nectar from many types of wildflowers, fruit orchards, lush forests and mainly from blooming linden trees (Tilia cordata and Tilia platyphyllos). The result of the second harvest is Linden honey, primarily made from the nectar of the linden trees and also from linden honeydew. It has a distinctive aroma of linden blossoms, a pleasant, sweet, slightly bitter taste with hints of citrus and mint, and a lingering aftertaste with floral notes. I only harvest mature, capped honey from virgin combs to preserve the purity of the honey as much as possible. I also extract the honey using my own honey extractor to minimize the risk of honey contamination. I keep my production bees in my garden in the apiary, where they benefit from being sheltered from the sun on hot, sunny days and protected from snow in winter.
